Whatever That Means [Digital Mixtape]

Oniimukuu's now-deleted debut mixtape, Whatever That Means, returns as a 7-track digital exclusive. Originally released on November 1st, 2023, it's available now in WAV format-forever yours to own.

Oniimukuu explained that this project was born during a critical moment in his life. Physically unwell and emotionally overwhelmed, he felt as if he was rushing the creative process and ultimately felt disconnected to its final result. Despite receiving praise and radio play, he wasn't proud of his work - leading him to remove it entirely. Oniimukuu states that he knew commercially, it had the potential to perform well - but for him, it was never about the money. It was about the music, the emotion, and the brutal honesty.

Music is his diary, a personal story he chooses to share with the world. And with that comes a deep responsibility: to always deliver something meaningful. He pulled Whatever That Means not out of failure, but out of respect for the art and the fans who believe in it. This allowed him to reinvent and experiment with his production style and vocals, so its output is more natural and true to his tone. That choice marked a turning point, inspiring the more refined and emotionally raw album KRISSY, which was released the following year on May 3rd, 2024.
